LAP!1

Lap!1 is a hand-made and hand-programmed laptop in a walnut case.

Lap!1 does not want to compete with other modern notebooks. But it is able to do what it is needed for (which is word processing and appointment organisation) in a very quick and reliable way.
Lap!1 is also intended to be a statement against today’s megahertz delusion.

Created in 2000 within nine months as conequence of the need to own a mobile computer.

Technical characteristics:
8 Mhz Motorola 68000 processor, 1MB RAM, 1MB FLASH ROM. LCD display 40 columns/16 rows.
